I’m not a fan of the thaw. It makes everything wet, and dirty, and a bit sad. The months of cigarettes, the trash that was hidden, the occasional unfortunate bird or squirrel. There were “SEVERE WEATHER” warnings last night and this morning. As I often do with “SEVERE WEATHER” warnings in Minnesota, I shrugged it off as hysterical. Weathermen trying to sell bread to hysterical people afraid that they will be snowed into their homes for a day when they may need bread!
