Thirteen days till the “due date”. Thirteen days that I’m sure will feel like thirty. We are sticking close to home these last couple weeks, it only makes sense, but it does add to my cagey, doing nothing but waiting feeling. As always though, good people surround me.
My mother and sister have called with kind words […]

Really, […]

Real quick here.…
I have been watching “A baby story” and “Bringing home baby”. It’s good for me They have taught me that women do give birth without turning into monsters all of the time, that nobody really knows what to do with a newborn but they survive, and that everybody gets a little nuts […]

Yesterday I managed to drive out to Shakopee to drop the motor off. Last year we were using the boat motor that decided to go kaputz…
Needless to say we don’t live in an area where boat motor repair shops are every other block. So…to Shakopee. The woman at the counter was very nice…but the place […]

It’s official. I have reached the stage in pregnancy where I just kinda want to be done. I feel fat, ugly, tired, and uncomfortable. The grand design was pretty smart at having a 9 month gestation time…much more than that and women would say “screw it”. I’ve slept like crap the past two nights, and […]

This morning I wanted to kill him when I found him chewing a button off of my blue chair. When I got home I was mad at him for being in the moses basket…
But he was just too cute to move…
This must be what having kids is like…

My first response, out loud, to my sister getting a Wii was “Awwww…bitch!” I know, it’s immature, but I wanted a Wii first! She has a house! She was a (newer) car! She had the first baby! I want the Wii…I want it I want it I want it!.…Ok…so none of that has anything to […]

I’m glad I wont be pregnant in the dead of summer. The “oh my God, it’s so hot I cant breath” of summer, the “I know its a decorative pond…I don’t care I’m diving in anyway” of summer. I should be done before it gets REALLY nasty out.
Many women I know have said they’d rather […]

My twenties are officially over. Lot’s of stuff rolls through my head when I think about that. A LOT happened in my twenties. I wont even attempt to list them. The past several years have changed my life forever, in the very best of ways, but I don’t need to go over that all. In […]
