There’s a scene in the movie Clue (a personal favorite garbage brain movie) where this woman is screaming hysterically, uncontrollably, being completely irrational. She is met by a quick slap in the face and abruptly stops. Everyone looks at the smacker and his response is “I had to stop her from screaming.”
I’m not sure why […]

I have had a very good day. A fantastic balance of work and play. Visited friends, got a lot done around the house, did laundry, chatted with Sherman, played with Ijah and my silverware drawer is still organized.
I know that sounds like a little thing, and it is…but it’s really nice to be able to […]

Super warm bed with the softest comfiest sheets in the world, cold breeze from a rainy day outside that makes you snuggle closer. Seven thirty and not a peep from the kiddo since he has begun sleeping later…ahhhhhh
Then I realized we had to get up. And on top of that we have to wake the […]

Yesterday I put a link up to an article that I found insane. A four month old child, denied health care because of obesity. Apparently falling above the 95th percentile on those annoying little charts can make your child too much of a risk to insure. The company has now revised their decision and the […]

You may ( or may not ) have noticed the widget on the right that links to posts from this week from a couple weeks ago. I can’t decide if I was just funnier in the past than I am now or if I just took the time to write more.
I prefer to think the […]

The other day I found myself toteting all of my plants back to the shower. Ijah followed with looks and noises that could easily be translated as “what are you doing…weirdo”. I’d been meaning to shower the plants for weeks. The looked dusty and sad. They didnt have that perky plant look that I love, […]

Sherman threw out his back. Somewhere between packing up the car from a second floor apartment, hauling boats around, lifting batteries, babies, and sleeping on a crappy bed he has gotten into full out old man, can’t move mode. He hates it, I get it. He’s kinda funny about it, kinda pouting, trying to do […]

Elijah and I were on the bus home from Target today and I kept hearing snippets of conversations. This isn’t abnormal by any means, it’s one of the reasons I like the bus. It’s my own personal version of reality t.v. Today. however, I wished I could turn it off. Two women, age was very […]

The other day a blurb flashed by on the intertubes that I had to click. A breastfeeding doll. Complete with sucking, burping and gurgling noises. A little halter top with flower nipples you pop on and into the plastic dolls mouth. You may have heard of it, I’m not going to link to any of […]
